Our Course
Our TEFL course gives you the knowledge and skills to teach your first class with confidence. Becoming a TEFL teacher is the first step in an amazing journey. TEFL teachers are always in demand and jobs are advertised in locations all over the world from Japan to Mozambique. In addition, working in a foreign country will make your CV stand out and give you valuable work experience. After graduating why not apply for jobs in your chosen field sitting on a beach in Thailand and getting paid to do it.
Teaching Methodology
During the course you will learn the different methods used to teach English as a second language and how to use them in the classroom.
Observation
All the classes you teach will be observed by the trainer and the other course participants. Feedback is an essential part of the learning process.
WECI does some of its teacher training in local schools that can't afford native speakers. In this way WECI and you give something back to the community.
Real Teaching
Practice
An important part of the course is real teaching practice. During the course you will teach a selection of different ages and abilities.
Feedback
Feedback is given in a construtive and positive manner enabling the course participants to improve on their strenghts and work on their weaknesses.
