Course Outline
Course Overview
Our TEFL course consists of 120 hours, spread over 4 weeks and has been approved by the Thai Ministry of Education. The course is run Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm.
During the course you will learn TEFL theory, observe qualified teachers and teach. We put a lot of emphasis on you teaching and give you constructive feedback after each lesson. We believe you learn by doing. During the course you will experience teaching General and Business English to adults in our school and at other locations, such as local companies and hotels. You will also teach at local government schools if your course coincides with their term times.
Passing the course is based on your assessed teaching practice, two written assignments and an end of course test. Should you not meet the required standard, you will be able to join the next available course, at no additional expense, until you have reached the required level. In order to ensure that you have the best possible chance of passing the course, we require you to complete a written assignment before you are accepted onto the course.
Our aim is to offer a professional run course that gives you the skills and knowledge to teach your first lesson with confidence; whilst making it educational and enjoyable for your students. We take your training very seriously, as our reputation depends on the quality of teachers we produce.
